"Onam, the iconic harvest festival of Kerala, is a joyous celebration of culture and unity. Every year, Malayalis come together to commemorate this special occasion.

Our college celebrated Onam on September 12th, and it was a spectacular event.

The festivities began with the traditional Pookalam-making, where students showcased their artistic skills.

Clad in traditional attire, students added elegance to the celebration, participating in various events: 

-Thiruvathirakali

- Kaikottikali

- Mixed dance

- Onam songs

The excitement continued with thrilling games:

- Uriyadi

- Vadam Vali

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the Onam Sadya, featuring an array of delicious curries and two types of payasam.

After savoring the feast, we concluded the celebration by wishing our teachers and friends a Happy Onam.

This year's Onam celebration was truly unforgettable. We're grateful for the opportunity to experience this vibrant festival together.

B.Ed college experience

 "The Beginning of a New Journey: My First Few Days at B.Ed College" Starting my B.Ed journey was filled with   excitement, curiosity and nervousness. Our college is situated in a hillyarea🏞️. The natural view from our college is really beautiful.                Our college name is Kaviyattu College of Education and I've chosen to purse a B.Ed degree in Mathematics. College campus  On the first day, we had an orientation session where we got to familiarize ourselves with faculty and fellow students🤝.  As per bed curriculum, we the student of Kaviyattu College OF Education, are embarking on a teaching practice journey to boost our skill and translate theoretical knowledge into practical experience. First week experience   Day 01   Today 14/07/2025 marked the beginning of my teaching practice.We arrived at school at 9.00 The senior teacher arranged our seating and received time table During the third period there was no teacher in class 8E, so I was assigned to substitute for that teacher. I introduced myself to the student, later they introduced themselves to me. I managed the classroom very well. Following the 4th period, there was a lunch break in school and we also joined to serve free meal to students. After lunch break we worked on our lesson plan and prepared my first class.
