The final day of the EKTA–2025 Community Living Camp was filled with enthusiasm, reflection, joy, and a deep sense of fulfillment, marking a meaningful and memorable conclusion to the five-day journey of unity, learning, and togetherness. The programmes of the day focused on personal safety, talent exploration, self-expression, reflection, and evaluation, making it a perfect closure to a holistic community living experience.
The day began at 9:30 a.m. with a powerful Self-Defense Training Session, conducted by Mr. Arun S. S., Branch Chief of WKO Kerala (Shinkyokushin Kai), along with his daughter Ms. Abhaya D. A., an Instructor. The session aimed at empowering student teachers with basic self-defense skills for personal safety and confidence. Through practical demonstrations and interactive training, the resource persons emphasized the importance of awareness, alertness, courage, and self-confidence in handling unsafe situations. Student teachers actively participated in the session, making it both engaging and empowering.
At 12:15 p.m., the atmosphere transformed into a celebration of creativity with a vibrant Talent Show, providing a platform for student teachers to showcase their artistic abilities. The programme included songs, dances, skits, mono acts, and creative performances, creating an energetic and joyful environment.
After the lunch break, the talent show continued until 3:55 p.m., maintaining the same spirit of enthusiasm, unity, and excitement. The post-lunch session reflected the strong bonding and friendship that had developed among the student teachers throughout the camp.
At 4:05 p.m., a meaningful Review and Feedback Session was conducted, where both student teachers and teacher educators shared their experiences, reflections, and opinions about the camp. Participants expressed how the camp helped them develop leadership skills, social awareness, discipline, cooperation, confidence, and teamwork. The session became a space for self-reflection, emotional expression, and collective evaluation of the camp’s objectives.
During the review session, Dr. Deepthi Miss, Principal of Kaviyattu College of Education, addressed the gathering. In her concluding remarks, she emphasized the importance of time management in personal and professional life and appreciated the student teachers for their discipline, unity, cooperation, and active participation throughout the camp. Her words served as motivation and inspiration for the future journeys of the student teachers.
The EKTA–2025 Community Living Camp formally concluded at 5:30 p.m., as participants departed from the campus with smiles, memories, and hearts full of gratitude. Though the camp ended, it left behind cherished memories, lifelong friendships, meaningful learning experiences, and deep emotional bonds.
