Day 11
Today marked the eleventh day of my teaching practice. got three periods in class 9D today. I handled two periods of Mathematics, during which I explained the concept of midsection and worked out examples with the students. In the last period, I conducted a fun game with my students. By the end of the session, I was able to complete the topic as planned.
This day helped me realize that combining focused teaching with fun activities improves students’ interest and understanding. I learned that revising concepts through games can make learning more effective and enjoyable. Overall, the session strengthened my confidence in managing multiple periods and maintaining student engagement.
Day 12
Today marked the twelfth day of my teaching practice. I introduced the topic by explaining the meaning of special expressions from the chapter polynomial and worked out examples step by step. An activity was conducted to help students identify and apply special expressions, which encouraged active participation. Students showed interest and involvement throughout the lesson.
This session helped me understand the importance of activity-based learning in strengthening conceptual clarity. I realized that involving students actively helps them remember and apply mathematical expressions more effectively. Overall, the class was engaging and the learning objectives were achieved successfully.
Day 13
Today marked the thirteenth day of my teaching practice. I got two substitution periods in class 9D. During these periods, I taught the concept of algebra of measurement and explained the related terms and formulas. After the explanation, I worked out a few problems with the students and allowed them to solve some on their own to reinforce learning.This experience helped me understand the importance of utilizing substitution periods productively. I realized that guided practice plays a key role in helping students gain confidence in applying new concepts. Overall, the session was effective and improved my classroom management and teaching skills.
Day 14
Today marked the fourteenth day of my teaching practice. I explained and solved simple problems related to the chapter Polynomials with the students. Students were encouraged to actively participate and solve problems on their own. By the end of the session, I successfully completed the chapter as planned.This lesson helped me understand the importance of revision and practice in ensuring mastery of concepts. I realized that solving simple problems builds students’ confidence and helps them apply what they have learned effectively. Overall, it was a productive and satisfying teaching experience.
Day 15
Today marked the fifteenth day of my teaching practice. I introduced the new chapter parts of circle by explaining the basic parts of a circle and then taught the concepts related to lengths and angles. Examples were discussed to help students identify and understand these parts correctly. Students showed interest and were able to follow the new concepts.
This session helped me understand the importance of introducing new topics gradually and clearly. I realized that establishing strong basic concepts makes it easier for students to understand advanced ideas later. Overall, the class was effective and encouraged student participation.
