"Little Voices, Big Lessons – My Phase Two Teaching Journey, sixth week”

 Day 22

Today marked the twenty-second day of my teaching practice. I handled two periods in class 9D. I taught and solved problems related to the total surface area of a prism step by step with the students. Students actively participated and practiced the problems. By the end of the two periods, I successfully completed the topic area of a prism as planned.

This session helped me understand the importance of practice and revision in consolidating learning. I realized that continuous problem-solving builds confidence and improves accuracy in mathematics. Overall, the class was productive and effective.

Day 23

Today marked the twenty-third day of my teaching practice. I got two periods in class 9D. I introduced the concept of a cylinder and explained its parts clearly. Then I taught the formula for the volume of a cylinder and solved a few problems related to the topic with the students. Students actively participated and showed interest in learning the new concept.

This session helped me understand the importance of clear explanation when introducing a new solid figure. I realized that solving problems immediately after teaching a formula helps students gain confidence and clarity. Overall, the class was effective and encouraging.

Day 24

Today marked the twenty-fourth day of my teaching practice. I conducted a 25-mark achievement test for class 9D to assess students’ understanding of the concepts taught in the recent chapters. The test was well organized, and students attempted the questions sincerely. This experience helped me understand the importance of assessment in evaluating learning outcomes and planning future teaching strategies, making it a meaningful part of my teaching practice journey.

Day 25

Today marked the twenty-fifth day of my teaching practice. As I completed all the portions of the second phase of teaching practice, I used my period to revise and rewind the important formulas from the chapters I had taught. This revision helped students recall key concepts and strengthen their understanding. The session was meaningful as it consolidated learning and gave me a sense of satisfaction in successfully completing this phase of my teaching practice journey.

Day 26

Today marked the twenty-sixth day of my teaching practice. I got two substitution periods, which I handled effectively by conducting a revision session for class 9D. The revision helped students recall important concepts and formulas, and the class was conducted smoothly and productively. This experience strengthened my confidence in classroom management and reinforced the importance of using every teaching opportunity meaningfully.
