  Day 4  – Community Living Camp, Kaviyattu College of Education The fourth day of the EKTA–2025 Community Living Camp unfolded as a deeply enriching experience, focusing on mental well-being, emotional balance, creative expression, teamwork, environmental responsibility, and cultural unity . The programmes of the day nurtured the inner self of student teachers while also strengthening their sense of collective responsibility and community living. At 9:56 a.m. , a powerful and reflective “Healing Hub” programme was conducted by Mr. Gireesh Sparuthimadam , trainer and journalist from Deepika .   Day 3  – Community Living Camp, Kaviyattu College of Education The third day of the EKTA–2025 Community Living Camp was a powerful blend of physical fitness, health awareness, humanitarian values, creativity, and community service , making it one of the most meaningful and impactful days of the camp. Every session of the day reflected the true objectives of the B.Ed. curriculum by nurturing responsible, compassionate, and socially committed future teachers. The day began with a morning Yoga Session , which prepared the student teachers both physically and mentally for the day’s activities. Through basic yogasanas and breathing exercises, the session promoted flexibility, concentration, and inner calmness. Every activity of the day reflected the true spirit of the camp theme “Unity for Community” , contributing to the holistic development of student teachers and strengthening the bonds of unity and cooperation among them. The day began on a refreshing and energetic note with a Yoga Session from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. , led by Ms. Shaini J.   Day 1  – Community Living Camp, Kaviyattu College of Education The EKTA–2025 Community Living Camp, themed “Unity for Community” , began on 24th November 2025 at the Seminar Hall of Kaviyattu College of Education with great enthusiasm, discipline, and a deep sense of purpose. The first day marked a meaningful beginning to the five-day camp, setting a strong foundation for unity, cooperation, social responsibility, and collective living among student teachers. The camp was formally inaugurated by Mr. Jose D. Sujeev Sir , a retired English teacher and recipient of Asian, National, and State Best Teacher Awards. His presence added inspiration and dignity to the occasion.   Day 11 Today marked the eleventh day of my teaching practice.  got three periods in class 9D today. I handled two periods of Mathematics, during which I explained the concept of midsection and worked out examples with the students. In the last period, I conducted a fun game with my students. By the end of the session, I was able to complete the topic as planned. This day helped me realize that combining focused teaching with fun activities improves students’ interest and understanding. I learned that revising concepts through games can make learning more effective and enjoyable. Overall, the session strengthened my confidence in managing multiple periods and maintaining student engagement. Day 12 Today marked the twelfth day of my teaching practice.   Day 6  Today marked sixth day of my teaching practice. In today’s class, I revised the formula for the area of a circle and gave a few example problems for students to solve. They actively participated and clarified their doubts. Most of the students were able to solve the problems accurately I understood that continuous practice and revision are essential for students to gain confidence in solving mathematical problems. Regular exercises help reinforce their conceptual understanding. Day 7  On the seventh day of my teaching practice, I planned to teach problems related to the area of a circle using the Inquiry Model of Teaching . My main objective was to encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and arrive at the solution through their own reasoning rather than direct instruction.   Day 1 Today marked the beginning of my teaching practice, and I felt excited and a little nervous as I stepped into the school environment. In the 4th period, I entered class 9D, the class I will be handling throughout my teaching practice journey. I began by introducing myself to the students, and then I encouraged them to introduce themselves. This helped in building a warm and friendly rapport. After the introductions, I briefly introduced the chapter that I will be teaching. Since it was my first class with them, I intentionally spent time interacting and getting to know the students better. I wanted to create a comfortable atmosphere where they feel free to communicate and learn. The students were very cooperative, and the session went smoothly. Overall, it was a meaningful and positive experience for me. I felt happy to connect with the students and look forward to the coming days with enthusiasm and confidence. I am thrilled to share my experience and reflection as a trainee teacher at G V H S S Pirappancode, where i will be teaching 9D from november 3 to november 29.
